Rotch House, 1845. New Bedford, MA.

Gas wall sconces. Iron and bronze.

The present owners of this amazing home found these sconces in the basement. Originally fit for gas, they were re-wired and cleaned. Before they could be installed in the dining room, I made special hardware that could sustain their weight.

Beachmound Estate, Newport, RI.

Crystal sconces.

Four sconces were taken down and carefully packed up. Back at my workshop each was taken apart to be rewired and cleaned. All of the silvered fittings were hand stripped and polished back to their original beauty. New sockets, candle sleeves and hardware were added back at the house the day of installation.
